Menelaos Kyprianou, is a Partner at the law firm of Michael Kyprianou & Co. He obtained an LLB Degree from the University of Nottingham in the UK. He is also a Barrister-at-law of the Middle Temple (UK) having been called to the Bar in 1994. Menelaos is also a member of the Cyprus Bar Association and the International Bar Association. In April 2007 he was appointed by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Cyprus to the position of member of the Board of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission. He has extensive experience as a corporate lawyer and has been instructed by leading overseas law firms to represent clients in Cyprus in international money laundering cases. He specializes in corporate law, civil litigation and arbitration, international trade, maritime law and European law. He has given a number of lectures before including on Cyprus as a Venue for the Establishment of a Holding Company and on Anti-Money Laundering issues.
